One of the standout features of the New Mexico Log Home is its impressive log walls, which create a strong visual presence while providing exceptional structural integrity. The handcrafted logs are carefully selected and fitted together using traditional saddle notch construction techniques. This proven method creates tight-fitting corners that enhance both the beauty and performance of the home. Adding to its distinctive appearance are the dramatic log flares, which highlight the natural shape and character of each log. These unique details celebrate the organic beauty of the wood while giving the home a truly one-of-a-kind look.

The New Mexico Log Home also incorporates elements of post and beam construction, creating open interior spaces with soaring ceilings and exposed timber framing. This combination of handcrafted logs and heavy timber construction provides both visual appeal and structural strength, allowing homeowners to enjoy spacious living areas filled with natural light and rustic charm.

Whether you are inspired by the authentic craftsmanship of handcrafted log walls, traditional saddle notch joinery, distinctive log flares, or the strength of post and beam construction, Cascade Handcrafted can bring your vision to life.
