At Cascade Handcrafted, we work with our customers to develop a fully customized floor plan. It may mean moving a bathroom or staircase, or moving the entire structure to get the best view.
We created this build for a great client in Missouri, USA. This western red cedar log structure is 2 floors with solid log walls, and we built 2 separate floors at the log yard that would fit onto each other at the log home location. The stunning design was created by RCM Cad Design Ltd.

We had the opportunity to build this gem for a great couple up in the mountains of Alpine, Arizona. We built the log shell at our log yard in Rosedale, British Columbia and then drove to the build location with the logging truck for reassembly. The log shell is ready to be finished off by the client’s choice of a local builder.

A gorgeous post and beam made from western red cedar, carefully handcrafted with inner knee braces and supports and is currently being built at the Cascade Handcrafted log yard. Once the log and timber frame home is completed, it will be shipped to it’s new home in Kansas, USA.
A handcrafted log home is the only “true” log home. In a handcrafted building, the log is still a natural log, the only alteration being that it has undergone removal of the outer bark and part or all of the “cambium” or inner bark layer. Because of this, each log still possess all of the uniqueness and character that nature intended it to have.
