This uniquely stunning home was built for an equally unique family in Wyoming, it was built using 15-17- 20″ average Western Red Cedar with a “Latewood Finish”. The Latewood finish is very much different than the traditional drawknife finish that most everyone associates log homes with.
Latewood refers to the winter growth of the tree where by using high pressure water we remove the bark and inner cambium layer exposing and preserving the inherent surface which is full of character and unique contour that most would never have believed existed.
